Healthy Steps with Mama Care: Building Wellness Through Intentional Movement

We showed up strong for Healthy Steps with Mama Care, an initiative organised by Custos Care Foundation under the Mama Care Initiative, in collaboration with my Office. It was the perfect way to kick-start a more intentional and sustained journey toward health, wellness, and happiness.

The event served as a powerful reminder that good health is built, not wished for. Through intentional movement, simple fitness routines, and active participation, the session focused on strengthening the body, refreshing the mind, and encouraging a more conscious approach to overall wellbeing.

We began with gentle stretches to warm up the body, followed by energising aerobics. The session then progressed into core-strengthening exercises such as push-ups, abdominal workouts, and lunges, all carefully designed to activate the body and build strength from the inside out.

With uplifting music and shared enthusiasm in the space, the atmosphere was refreshing, motivating, and deeply energising. Participants were fully engaged, creating a sense of community and collective commitment to healthier living.

Through Custos Care Foundation, under the Mama Care Initiative, this programme represents our ongoing commitment to promoting wellness, encouraging consistent physical activity, and building healthier, more active communities where wellbeing becomes a natural part of everyday life, not an afterthought.
